About this item
- REALISTIC FAIRWAY SIMULATION: With 110 ounces of nylon, this mat enables golfers to achieve that coveted Down-and-Through motion, replicating the experience of a genuine fairway. Dense nylon fibers, coupled with the 5/8” closed cell foam pad, deliver authentic feedback on all your shots, whether they're fat, thin, or pure.
- ROBUST CONSTRUCTION AND STABILITY: Country Club Elite mats are 2x denser than other practice mats. Heavy duty backing keeps the mat firm and stable underfoot, and shock absorption prevents strain on your wrists during long practice sessions.
- TAKES A REAL TEE: The thick pile nylon surface is tall enough to accept a real wooden tee. You can now practice with your favorite tees right at home, providing a seamless transition from practice to the golf course. This product also includes pre-drilled holes compatible with our adjustable golf tee (included).
- NO RESIDUE ON CLUBS: Unlike mats made of softer fibers that break down under fast swings, the Country Club Elite Mat's higher melting point nylon ensures a clean and residue-free experience. Your clubs will stay spotless and your performance unhindered.
- WHAT’S IN THE BOX: Along with your new practice hitting mat, one complimentary adjustable tee and attached base is included with holes pre-drilled for use.

Product Description
Real Feel Golf Mats was the first to develop a golf mat that takes a real tee after listening to PGA professionals complain about the typical golf mat problems they faced.
With help from PGA Presidents Jack Connelly and Will Mann, top teachers including Mike Bender, Brian Manzella, Shawn Clement, and feedback from Physical Therapy Specialists, medical doctors, golf simulator manufacturers, golf course super-intendants, and avid golfers, The Country Club Elite Mat was born and introduced at the National PGA Show.
Since then, we have been featured at The US Open in the Trackman Swing Zone, at Butch Harmon School of Golf, On US Golf TV, In Golf Course Trades Magazine as “An American Success Story”, Golf Illustrated, Golf Digest Magazine, Golf Digest.com “Driven To Innovate” video, PGA Show New Product Zone, and more.
2x Denser than a Practice Mat
This densely tufted commercial-grade turf has twice the face weight of standard driving range mats, keeping it firm and stable underfoot and providing shock absorbency for elbows and wrists.
Real Tee, Real Results
Country Club Elite Mats are thick enough to accept a real wooden or plastic tee for a realistic feel.
Realistic Even on Fat Shots
Country Club Elite Mats react like real turf, solving the bounce problem other mats have and allowing for realistic feedback on every shot.

Instead of a full replacement, I tried to save a few dollars by upgrading my platform by inserting this mat as the hitting area and using the budget mat as the area to stand. I was able to pressure fit it into my platform without any adhesive and the result is quite stable.
So far, this upgrade has been a great decision. This mat feels much more realistic and feedback for both good and poor strikes are easier to distinguish. The ability to use real tees has been nice and going through the full setup during practice seems to better translate to the course. From what I can tell so far, the durability is much better than the lower priced alternative. After 2 months and a few thousand strikes there is no clear depression in the hitting area, which is very different than the other mat that would show wear within a few days.
Overall I have been happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone considering an at home practice area.

Overall I have been happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone considering an at home practice area.
The only grip I have is that it tends to move easily when hit hard (i.e. if I chunk the swing), especially in my setup (my golf cage is on gravel). I'm considering getting some thin metal pins and hammering the thing into the ground.
However, I developed pretty severe tendonitis using this for a few months straight. Will be replacing it with something better, and I HOPE I can recover/heal without taking a long break from all golf.
I really wish I would've read up more (these are notorious for joint pain) because I regret using this.
